Family Business

We are a small, family-owned operation with the goal of sharing our unique family recipe of 100% plant-based seaweed chicharrones (or seaweed cracklings).

How It All Started

Our chicharrones were created back in the late ’70s when our uncle pioneered seaweed harvesting in Baja, Mexico.

At the time, there was a lack of vegan and wholesome snacks with simple ingredients. Being a studied marine biologist and knowing the fantastic properties of sea vegetables, he knew he had to come up with something different. After several attempts, the seaweed chicharron was born.
